Our 15-point spring checklist covers everything: battery reconnection and load test, oil level verification and top-off, coolant system flush and refill, fuel system inspection (checking for ethanol damage and old gas), spark plug inspection or replacement, impeller and wear ring check, steering and throttle cable inspection, hull inspection for cracks or damage, trailer lights and bearings check, bilge pump test, safety equipment verification, and a full test run.
Spring is when we catch the problems that developed over winter. Maybe the fuel went bad, maybe a mouse chewed through a wire, maybe a seal dried out. Better to find these issues in your driveway than stranded in the middle of Lake Bridgeport on Memorial Day weekend.

How long does spring commissioning take?
Usually 1–2 hours depending on the condition of the watercraft. If we find additional issues, we'll give you a quote before doing any extra work.
When should I schedule spring readiness?
Book in February or March to be ready by April. If you wait until May, you're competing with everyone else trying to get on the water for Memorial Day. Early birds get priority.
Do I need spring commissioning if I didn't winterize?
Especially then. If your rig sat all winter without proper winterization, there's a higher chance of fuel degradation, battery failure, or corrosion. A spring inspection is critical to avoid on-water breakdowns.
