Outboard Boat Service
Expert outboard motor service and repair. Keep your boat running strong all season.
Your outboard motor is the heart of your boat, and keeping it maintained is the difference between a great day on Lake Bridgeport and a tow back to the ramp. Bridgeport Ski Daddies provides expert outboard motor service and repair for Mercury and Yamaha 4-stroke outboards — from routine oil changes to complex lower unit rebuilds.
We handle everything: annual maintenance (oil, gear oil, impeller, spark plugs, filters), lower unit service (seals, bearings, gear oil), electrical diagnostics (trim/tilt, gauges, starters, charging systems), fuel system service (injector cleaning, fuel pump replacement, ethanol damage repair), prop repair and replacement, and thermostat/cooling system work.
Ethanol-blended fuel is one of the biggest threats to outboard motors in North Texas. We see fuel system corrosion, clogged injectors, and degraded fuel lines constantly — especially on boats that sit for weeks between uses. Regular maintenance prevents these issues and saves you thousands in emergency repairs.
Our mobile service means we come to your boat — whether it's on a lift at North Side Marina, on a trailer in your driveway, or at a ramp on Lake Bridgeport. We also offer full pickup and delivery if your boat needs shop time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I service my outboard?
At minimum annually, or every 100 hours of use — whichever comes first. Oil changes, gear oil, impeller, spark plugs, and fuel filter should all be on your regular maintenance schedule.
Can you do lower unit service?
Absolutely. Lower unit gear oil changes, seal replacement, bearing service, and full rebuilds are some of our most common outboard services.
Do you service 2-stroke outboards?
We specialize in 4-stroke outboards from Mercury and Yamaha. For 2-stroke service, we can refer you to a specialist.
My outboard won't start after sitting all winter. Can you help?
This is one of the most common calls we get every spring. Usually it's a fuel system issue — old gas, clogged injectors, or a dead battery. We diagnose and fix it on-site in most cases.
How much does an annual outboard service cost?
A basic annual service (oil change, gear oil, plugs, filter) starts around $200–350 depending on the motor size. Impeller replacement adds $150–250. We provide a detailed quote before starting.
