Boat Ramps

#### Wise County Park Ramps (North Shore) The most popular public ramps on the lake. Two concrete ramps in good condition, plenty of parking, and easy access. Located off FM 2123 on the north side of the lake.

Pros: Wide ramps, good parking, well-maintained
Cons: Crowded on summer weekends — arrive early
Best for: All boats and jet skis, easy in/out

#### Bridgeport City Park Ramp Located near downtown Bridgeport on the south side of the lake. Single ramp with moderate parking.

Pros: Close to town, less crowded than Wise County Park
Cons: Smaller ramp, limited parking on busy days
Best for: Local boaters, weekday launches

#### FM 2123 Public Ramp A smaller public ramp on the west side of the lake. Less developed but functional.

Pros: Rarely crowded, quick access to open water

Marinas

#### North Side Marina The largest marina on Lake Bridgeport, located on the north shore. Offers boat slips, fuel dock, and a convenience store. Great central location with access to the main body of the lake.

Pro Tips from the Crew

Arrive early on summer weekends. Wise County Park ramps get packed by 9 AM on Saturdays.

Watch the water level. Lake Bridgeport fluctuates — during low-water periods, some ramps become shallow. Check lake levels before you go.

Prep your boat at home, not at the ramp. Load gear, remove covers, and disconnect trailer straps in the parking lot — not on the ramp. Other boaters will thank you.

Bring a fire extinguisher and throwable flotation device. Texas law requires them.

Watch for stumps. Lake Bridgeport has submerged timber, especially in the coves and upper reaches. Stay in marked channels if you're unfamiliar with the lake.
